What would it take for you to buy and drive an electric car or truck? - car and home insurance
Am I obligated to have on a particular area,
You need to recharge the batteries quickly, or need to change quickly?
It's the miles for every dollar for a problem?
It is a problem of recharging at home or at work?
Concerned about the maintenance costs?
Whether you agree with an electric car or truck?
Would you prefer, even if it is a gasoline-electric or diesel-electric hybrids? Why?
They are not enough torque on acceleration or concerns?

For me seriously consider buying an electric car drag one or two things must change.
1st, I would expect is that the performance of gasoline engines compared. I know there are electric sports cars like Tesla, which is fast but regular electric cars are still very little energy.
I also have a significant impact, with a capacity for quick loading. And I do not want to pay a premium for it, just because it electrically. In my opinion, there is a large amount of gasoline or diesel vehicles, which run very close to the fuel consumption in comparison to the Prius, but also much more fun.
I am also very interested in technology to the diesel-electric, but I do not think that America embrace ever really.
In my opinion, Deisel options are much more practical than the hybrids, but for various reasons, some valid opinions of some very old-fashioned, the Americans do not like diesel.
I want to drive a fully electric car, but my biggest concern about electric cars is the battery life / driving distance are available. I live about 50 miles from the city for shopping or entertainment. For me a typical day in the city leads to a trip of 120-150 miles per route. I do not want stupid to push the car in the last 10 miles home because the battery pooped out.
Show me a family car battery that can travel 250 miles on a single charge, making it as convenient, reliable and fast as a gasoline engine, and sold at a price comparable to gasoline cars today, and I am one of the leading position to buy.
Sunroof, decent audio system, power seats. You know, important things. It should also be at least 75 miles per hour and at a price of about 5 thousand dollars or less, which is the price range, there are currently on a vehicle. As I work in a profession where you must drive on the ice is snow-covered roads, face or all-wheel-drive is also a prerequisite.
Basically it should in most every way equal to a car with a combustion engine, including the price. I do not want too many sacrifices in comfort, reliability, size, pick-up, operating costs, etc. I can only say that I have an electric car and why I am green.
